I went for a walk today; it was raining and everything was oh so beautiful.

I don't live far from a very busy intersection and I always go there and press the button and wait for the white light to say walk. As I stood there I watched the cars as they rushed by. There were many many cellphones being used and I got many looks of "look at the poor sap walking in the rain."

I am just surprised by how everything seems to be backwards and I felt a bit of a sadness at the poor saps driving in their cars and talking on their cellphones.

Is everybody sleeping? Have we all been hypnotized into valuing things that have no value?

The next time it rains I suggest you go for a walk and try to think about what is real and what is not.
