Diorama Man

Isis Rising

This is a diorama made by Marshall. He has made a whole lot of interesting dioramas for the website. You can check out more of his work like his 3 succubi diorama or Desperate Allies right here: Marshall's Dioramas

Here is what Marshall has to say about how he made this diorama:

It is mounted on a 24" tall 30" wide 3/4" thick AC plywood. The goddess is mounted on a wood piece 51/2" wide 12" tall and about 3/4" thick. The goddess mount is painted with Plasti Kote Flech Stone Canyon Rock. The mount has strips between the marble and goddess mount painted with Plasti Kote Flech Stone Rose Quartz. It has (4) 12"x12" black marble tiles attached with Gorilla glue. Two more tiles are used as bases for the columns. (Not attached to main piece). Used 2 EZ metal anchors with a 50 lb capacity each. The "columns" are Regal Luxor Sculptural Pedestals by Toscano. The goddess is Goddess Isis Wall Sculpture by Toscano. Of course the Flech Stone paint represents the sands of Egypt and the marble a palatial environment.

Toscano Goddess Isis wall sculpture

With the sun god Ra and two serpents flanking her royal head, the goddess Isis spreads her wings in this majestic, over-foot-tall work of wall art. Isis is hand-painted in a royal palette, accented in faux gold and cast in designer resin to add a Toscano-exclusive, regal presence to home or gallery.

Note From Will. I love Design Toscano stuff and I get their print catalog. You can see lots of their stuff on amazon right here: Design Toscano on Amazon.com
