Make a Plastic Model Walker Bulldog Tank - (M41) 1/35 scale - Part 4: Painting and applying decal

In this part of the tutorial we finish off the tank by painting it and applying the decals.

Painting the miniature soldier

There is one final assembly step for this kit. That is to assemble the soldiers and paint them. The instructions give you the steps for assembly and the color scheme for painting.

Painting the tank green

Then we paint the tank. I just painted it a flat green acrylic.

Painting the detail work

And did some detail painting with black.

The painting is complete

That's it. Looks good.

Let's finish it off by applying the decals.

The instructions show the decal placement

Cut out the decals

You cut each decal out of the sheet.

Soak the decal in water

Then soak in in water for about a minute - until it loosens itself on the paper. But don't remove it from the paper at this point.

Apply the decal

You place it with the paper over the model then slide the decal off the paper and onto the model.

And that's it. Add the figures and the tank is complete.

Model Submarine

Make a Model Submarine

This is a wonderful little plastic model kit. I chose this one because it has the open side so you can see all the various stuff inside the sub. Fun skill level 4 which means it is a challenging build. I also have a video. Make a Model Submarine

Model Warthog

Make the A-10 Warthog Plastic Model

This is a 1:48 Scale Revell model. It is a good size with some weight and detail. I take you through the steps to making this model and I have a video to go with it. Make the A-10 Warthog
