WW2 European Theatre Diorama

Jeffrey has contributed before to my website and this is his newest addition. He is working on a WW2 diorama and is going to keep us updated on the progress.

Jeffrey Tells us about the build:

I am planning on building a WW11 European Theatre Diorama.
My project is starting to get under way slowly these photos are of my Normandy ruined building made from foamboard it`s a work in progress.

The diorama is 1/35 scale and I am using Tamiya Miniature military series figures and some other sets from Master Box.

I added some French signs on to a board that I made from card & thin plastic. And cut out a piece of plastic roofing tiles, I`m going to try and finish the windows with broken pieces of clear plastic and some with balsa strip wood & matchsticks. Yes you are correct I used" spackle" and sealed it with pva . I also use" hard as nails".

I have the Miniart furniture set to go in the scratch building.  The Schwimmwagen type 166 is Tamiya. The Willys jeep is Italeri. The checkpoint is from Master box.

Starting to layout the diorama
