In this part of the tutorial we finish making the medieval axe. |
Now glue the curved spike onto the cardboard band exactly opposite the tab on the band.
Next glue on the two pieces that make the handle band. Notice how the ornament design is on the far right.
Next glue the both axe blade sections to the tabs. And glue them to each other too.
And glue the straight spike to the end of the handle like this. Now go over all those pieces you just glued on and add some more hot glue to them. Get them nice and strongly glued on so you can swing this thing around.
Now paint black all those pieces you just added.
Now use a hot glue gun to create bolts along the side of the axe.
Once the hot glue cools you can paint those bolts silver.
If you have some spray sealant then seal it! High gloss would be best so it is shiny like metal.
That's It! Your Axe is done! Now we can continue on and learn how to turn it into an axe to the back!!
The Electric Mace This is another fun automatic weapon project. With this one the head of the mace has spikes that go in and out. Good thing that knights from the past didn't have double A batteries :) Learn more about The Electric Mace
The Lazy Man's Sword! With this sword you can eat a sandwich and battle a dragon at the same time. Yup! No more Arm fatigue when you wield this sword! Check it out here: The Lazy Man's Sword
