Make Dark Repulser - Part 3

In this part of the tutorial we continue with the assembly of the sword.

Part 1 (the beginning) of this tutorial is here

Cereal box trimming

Now cut two pieces of cereal box cardboard about 7/8 of an inch wide and wrap it around the handle. One goes here near the blade.

Wrap the pommel

And glue one onto the end of the handle like this. These parts are not in the template. But easy enough to cut and measure.

Cut around part C

Cut out around all the parts labeled C. Don't cut out the individual parts yet. Just cut around the whole group of them.

Glue to cereal box cardboard

Glue down that piece to cereal box cardboard. Glue stick works really well for this. If you have it!

Once the glue has dried then go ahead and cut out these individual pieces.

Then glue them on. The picture here shows where they go.

GLue pieces on as shown

add a jewel with hot glue

Now, if you have a hot glue gun make the jewel in the center hole. You should do it in stages. Put some hot glue so it is globe shaped. Let it cool then add another layer. Continue until the jewel is the size and shape you desire.

MOd podge to seal it

Ok, we are done making the sword. Yay! Let's continue with the tutorial and paint it! If you have mod podge go ahead and give it a coat. This will protect and preserve it and make the colors pop!

NextOkay! Let's continue with the tutorial

Mod Podge Waterbase Sealer,

Make FrostMourne from World of Warcraft

This is a great looking sword and you just need a few basic supplies like foamboard and cereal box cardboard. Of course I give you the template. Make Frostmourne
