The Orcish Dagger is a very primitive looking dagger from Skyrim. And it is easy to make. I use some slightly different techniques for this project. But you have lots of options. If you don't have foam you can always do it with foamboard or cardboard.

Things you will need:

• 1 Piece of XPS foam about 1 inch thick
• Pvc Pipe (1" pipe, or wooden dowel, broomstick etc. ) You can get it at Hardware stores, Home Depot etc. They have it on amazon here: Charlotte Pipe Pvc Sch 40 Solid Pipe 1 " X 2 '
• Hot Glue Gun
• Sand paper
• Sharp knife
• A strip of brown fabric or cloth
• pins or glue
• Paint : Black silver and dark green
• Sponge
• Wood Glue or Mod Podge
• Brown artificial fur (This is the fur I bought on amazon: Darice Designer Fur Deluxe12 Inch x15 Inch -Dark Brown )

Print up the template.

The piece labeled "B" is a guide to show you how long to cut your pvc pipe, dowel or broomstick. It is about 1 1/4 inches wide and 6 inches long.

Cut out Parts A and C from the template. Lay them on your one inch piece of foam and trace them.

Be sure to draw the internal blade edge line. This is useful for when you carve out the shape of the knife.

Now cut out the parts. I am using a hot wire foam cutter but you can use just about anything. Foam cuts pretty easily. An xacto knife or a hacksaw blade also work well.

Okay! Let's start carving.

Some of the tools you can use to carve out the shape of the dagger is knifes, sandpaper, a hacksaw blade and a rasp. The rasp works really well.

Finish off the shape with sand paper. I used 220 grit. But don't make the knife really smooth. You want it to be very raw, rough and orc-like.

And follow this same shaping and sanding process with the pommel.
