How to Make the Steel Dagger from Skyrim
Fun and easy skyrim project. It is the steel dagger and you only need a few supplies. If you have never made one of my projects and you love skyrim this is a nice place to start.

One of the things that I like about this project is the clean lines of it. What I mean is that the blade has a clean and crisp look without a lot of detail. So what happens is that when you paint it silver it ends up looking like a nice piece of steel.
1 Piece of wooden dowel that is 1 inch in diameter and 9 inches long. ( you can substitute for this and improvise all kinds of things)
Glue or hot glue
Paints: Silver and Black and brown if you paint the handle
Brown leather or cloth for the handle. I used black leather.

If you don't have a wooden dowel I have a nice option for you. In the template there is an extra page for your foamboard or cardboard blade. You replace the wooden one with this one. The template has instructions for this.
Let's Get Started!
Cut a wooden dowel nine inches long. And put a one inch slot in the end like this.
The slot should be about the size to fit two pieces of foam board like this. (which is about 10mm wide).
Print up the template and cut out the pieces.
And tape together the two pieces that make up the blade.
Place that template on foamboard or cardboard and trace two of them.
