Villa Zorayda
It is a 19th century Mansion and Museum and it is a 1/10 scale reproduction of part of the famous Alhambra Castle in Spain. |
Table I went through all my photographs in and around St. Augustine and I only found one picture of the outside of the Spanish Style Castle/mansion. Much to my surprise. And, they don't allow photography of any type on the inside so we are out of luck - not a whole lot of visual help with this article!
It is an interesting place and well worth a visit if you are in St. Augustine. You pay an entrance fee then are free to walk around the inside visiting various rooms and areas. They also have an audio guide so you can pick up one of those and it will tell you about all the various things inside the Villa Zorayva. It is located at 83 King street in St. Augustine, 32084
Here is the original Alhambra in Spain. Villa Zorayda is modeled on part of this castle.
