Where to Buy Foam Board

We don't use foam board very often in our everyday lives but with the advent of the new cosplay hobby and the revival in arts and crafts foam board has gotten very popular. It is actually readily available in many places.

Where you can buy foam board:

  • Walmart carries it, usually around a dollar to two dollars per sheet
  • Office Supply stores usually carry it, I mean places like staples and Office Max
  • Drug stores like CVS and Rite aid often carry it. check in the office supplies section
  • Dollar stores almost always carry it for a dollar a sheet. But I have noticed that it is usually of an inferior quality but still usable
  • And of course you have lots of online options. My favorite is amazon. Here are listings of various sizes, colors and quantities on amazon.

Most everybody is familiar with this. It is a trifold display board. The kind you see at science fairs. This is made of foam board. Darice 36-Inch-by-48-Inch Project Display Board
