This is a magnificent little place. Let me explain.

It has been around since 1900 - yup.

And, this is just speculation on my part but in that period of time Fall River was a powerhouse in the world. There were innumerable fabric mill running 24 hours a day spinning threads and creating fabrics.

There were tens of thousands of mill workers.

And... I gurantee you that many of these mill workers ate Hartley's pork pies for lunch, or picked some up after work to bring home to the family.

It was magical times.

The city has changed significantly over these 125 years but these beautiful pork pies have remained the same. Let's take a look.

They make a wide variety of things but they are definitely most famous for these beautiful pork pies. They are like little cups of deliciousness. The flaky crust you see on the top here is the same all the way around. The sides and bottom are the same flaky crust goodness.
