A diorama is a fun little project to make. They depict a scene and that scene can be of just about anything. Here I have a series of easy to make dioramas that kids will have a lot of fun with. The child can pick a subject that interests him or her. They cover a whole lot of interesting subjects like dinosaurs, space, the ocean and the rainforest.

A Unique Dinosaur Diorama

Shoebox Diorama of a knight and dragon

- See the tutorial on how to make this nice diorama of a knight battling a dragon. The dragon is suspended in mid-air. One of the unique things about this diorama is that the shoebox is in the vertical position. This tutorial has everything you need including all the art work that you can print and color. Tatebanko is the ancient japanese art of paper diorama making. And I have lots of them! Many of them you can download, print and make yourself. Paper dioramas They include: A castle scene, Halloween, a dragon, Adventure Time, Lord of the Rings and Egypt!
