Drinking Horns

It is a very old tradition and the only thing better than drinking mead is drinking mead out of a traditional drinking horn! They are available and amazon.com has plenty of them. I have hand selected a variety of them for you to check out. They also make pretty neat display pieces.

Funny thing about the Viking sense of humor is that if you don't get a stand or somebody hands you a drinking horn full of mead you can't put it down anywhere so you have to drink it! You can see this problem solved by the shape of the Norway Norwegian horn :)

Want to see some pics of a drinking horn that a web visitor carved for his mead drinking? . Check out pics of the drinking horn here.

This beautiful stoneware beer stein horn was handcrafted in Germany by King. The handpainted relief features a Viking along with the banner that reads "NORWAY". This 1/2 liter horn is about 9" tall. King-Werks, also known as Wuerfel & Mueller, is one of only a few remaining German stein companies that still produce 100% of their steins in Germany with 100% German materials and labor.

Goblet

I found a whole bunch of wonderful drinking goblets on amazon. I have a page with them right here. Just a couple of years ago you couldn't get a goblet, or mead! It is great to see both are becoming very popular. Mead Goblets
