Telescope Kits The term telescope kit has two different meanings. The first definition is for a kit where you make your own telescope and I have two products here that fill that requirement. The second definition is for a kit that has all the accessories included with the telescope. I have an example of that type of kit here too.
Make your own Telescope Kits This is a nice little beginners kit where you make a small refractor. Build-It Yourself! -- Its so easy, now even an eight-year-old can build an 18" long, 3X refractor telescope in less than an hour. -- Includes objective lens, eye lens, glare stops, kraftboard tubes, instructions and an Edmund Star and Planet Locator. Finished product is powerful enough to show moon craters, Jupiters moons and many stars not visible to the naked eye. -- For ages 8 and up. -- As a Side Note: I do have a tutorial that shows you how to make this kind of a telescope from Scratch:
