In this part of the tutorial we finish off the sword by painting it.

Let's Paint it!

Paint it black

Paint the whole sword and all the various parts black.

 

Paint silver

Paint everything silver except for the spaces between the handle bands. Leave those to be painted brown. Now don't paint it all a solid silver. Leave it a bit textured and brushy so some of the black shows through.

 

Paint handle brown

Paint the spaces between the handle bands brown.

 

GLowing paint

Optionally, if you want the sword to have a bluish glow you can paint the eyes, nostrils, symbols and edges of the sword with blue glow in the dark paint. But you have to put it on very thick for it to look ok.

And that's it! Your FrostMourne sword is done!
