Somebody at a publishing company is the gatekeeper that will make it happen for you. Quite that simple. You have to convince that person of a few things. And you have to do all of this convincing before you even know who that person is. Let me explain.

An editor, most likely an acquisitions editor wants to know two three very important things.

1. Do you have the knowledge to cover the subject?

2. Will you deliver?

3. Will you promote and help with the sales of the book?
