I was walking around my local Price Rite grocery store and I was looking through all the various cheeses when I spotted this cheese in a bag. The bag says: To me they look like scallops! They are the same size a color. And looking at the back of the bag they had cooking instructions which included an oven or an air fryer. So I bought it and gave it a try. (cost was $4.99 for the bag) |
Ingredients according to the label: Water, cassava starch, kernel palm oil, pasteurized eggs, parmesan cheese, (pasteurized milk, sodium chloride, lactic yeast, calcium chloride, chymosin, lipase (maturing agent), pasteurized whole powder milk, modified cassava starc and salt. Air Fryer instructions: Preheat for 5 minutes at 350F and then cook for 13 minutes. So how do they taste? This is rather interesting and different. In the air fryer they form an outer shell much like a tater tot. And on the inside The cheese is soft and warm. So... about an average cheese flavor (hint of parmesan) but an interesting experience because of the tater tot outer shell. The package front
