Make a trick or treat bag with a dioram in it - Part 4 the case and the bag

Ok! We have finished with the diorama now we need to do a couple of things to get it ready for halloween. These include making a sturdy box around it so it can take some moving around. And finally we make a trick or treat bag for it and insert it.

Now we should enclose it with something so it has strength. We want to be able to carry it around in our bag and actually drop candy right on top of it. So we made a foamboard case for it. It is simply all the sides covered with foamboard including the bottom and the back. They are all glued together.

Two sheets of posterboard are measured and cut to make a halloween bag that is the right size for our diorama. And I have cut a rectangular hole in it so the diorama will show.

Optionally you can protect the insides of the diorama by mounting sheets of plastic over the front of it. I cut a couple of pieces from the pizza place take out containers for salad. You can scrounge around for thin plastic that would work for you.

Now install the diorama into the bag by simply sliding it down to the bottom.

Be sure the bottom of that bag is nice and strong. We don't want our project to fall out while we are walking around. So, tape it , glue it, put some cardboard in there. Anything you judge to make it strong.

That's It! Your Halloween Diorama Bag is done. Have fun! And if you make one be sure to send me a picture.
