Edgar Cayce - The Sleeping Prophet

Edgar Cayce is often known as the sleeping prophet and is considered to be America's most famous prophet. He lived from 1877 to 1945 and his works are still being researched and taught through his Edgar Cayce's ARE or Association for Research and Enlightenment.

He is called the sleeping prophet because he would put himself into a sleep-like trance when he was giving readings or speaking and channeling answers to questions about the future, health, reincarnation and many other subjects. He gave thousands of readings in this manner and many of them are still kept intact at the ARE institute and these reading range in variety from subjects like Atlantis, Egypt, Mans Destiny, Psychic powers, Health, Reincarnation, Astrology, and Jesus.
