Magical Transformation of Honey-water into Honey Wine

It is quite an amazing thing to watch as your batch of honey and water is transformed, almost magically into mead. The yeast really does an amazing job.

Here are two pictures of the same batch of Mead several weeks apart. The picture on the left shows it on the day it was made and the picture on the right shows it several weeks later. It is quite amazing how it was transformed from water to wine!

Mead beforeMead After

Here is another picture of a very nice batch of mead. It is gelling quite nicely and it has a beautiful texture and look to it. A bit deeper and richer than the meads shown above. I have done some tasting of this mead and it is also coming out quite delicious. At the time of this picture it has been fermenting for 11 weeks. It has orange, a cinnamon stick, and clove in it.
