Mounting a video camera to the RC airplane
I thought it would be a fun project to mount a video camera onto an RC airplane so that's what I have done. On this page I have some information, pictures and a video about this.
There are several ways to do this and I even considered mounting another servo inside the plane so I could control the camera. But maybe that will be the next step. For now I just got a Flip video camera, made a box for it and mounted it to the bottom of the plane. It should give me some fun video footage and when I fly the plane I will post the footage to this page so you can see. The video below shows a little bit about the camera and how I mounted it to the plane.
The Camera Mount - It's a pretty simple set up using a flip camera which is very light weight, HD and can record two hours of video.
