Things Hidden

Eight - Connectedness

Try to open your mind and understand this ---

Hundreds of years ago there were only about 8,000 stars. That's it, there were no more. It was easy to understand this because if you looked up that's what you saw.

If you tried to tell someone that there were actually billions upon billions upon even more billions of stars they would shake their head at your folly. Just look up and you can see there are lots but maybe about 8,000 and that's it, not billions. If there were more stars we would be able to see them.

Can you see what I am getting at here?

We can only go with what we got, at this moment in time. But right now, as in a few hundred years ago we can only see so far. But there are things unseen that we can't even comprehend yet. We don't have the telescopes for it yet.

And this brings me to my point here.

When you walk out to your garden do you think your plants, flowers and vegetables know you are there? I think they do. Not in the same way that we know of things but in their own plant way of knowing things. they can sense your presence in the way that they sense the sun and the rain. Part of this goes back to the fact that we are all connected; we are all living on this little blue marble together and we all share a common past. And we all share in the mystery of life together.

Don't doubt for a single second there are not some mysterious and remarkable things all around us - you can't see them right now because you just haven't discovered the right telescope.
