How to cast plastic miniatures in rubber molds - Videos

These are videos that show you the complete process of duplicating a variety of miniatures. I show you how to make the rubber molds using RTV or room temperature vulcanizing rubber. Sounds, complicated but is only a matter of mixing two ingredients together then letting it dry. And I show you how to cast the plastic miniatures in the rubber molds you made.

This series of videos are a companion to my web based tutorials on how to do this. You might want to watch the video then go to the web based tutorial for more information, pictures and links to where you can buy the materials needed.

Here are the web based tutorials:

This first video tutorial shows you the complete process on making a one part simple mold. This is really easy and your best choice for making objects that are not very complex. I make a treasure chest.

Next two videos show you how to make the mold for and duplicate more complex miniatures like figures, warriors, dwarves, elves and humanoids or creatures. I show you how to make each half of the rubber mold and how to cast the actual duplicate.
